FLUVIAL ENGINEERING: STUDY OF FLOODING IN LOWER BASIN OF THE PALMONES RIVER
The project completed by HIDTMA analyzes the effects that the actions contemplated in the construction of an Area of Logistical Activities may have on the flood levels of the lower basin of the Palmones River.
The occupation of land through landfills, in areas close to the river, may vary the levels and areas of flooding during the pluvial river floods.
